i'm a big fan of the daily salad bar. Always very tasty, particularly fresh salads, freely combinable and decently dressed. Often, for example, a delicious yogurt / cream with it.

Delicious and freshly cooked, the salad bar is awesome too! I go 2 to 3 times a week, currently only to go, so far everything has been great! I can only recommend, a lot of vegetarian and vegan! Oh yes, the mixed bread that is served with it is the Oberhammer. It can also be bought fresh as a whole loaf twice a week.

Yes, there are delicious soups here, in the middle of Darmstadt and yet hidden. My grandma had a milk shop in the same room 50 years ago, so there is still nostalgia.

Great selection of delicious dishes. Nice seating outside. The salads are delicious and huge. The soups are also great. But to really get full, you have to eat some bread. A little crowded at lunchtime, but the wait staff is usually quick. Very good value for money.

Delicious soups and salads, many of them vegan. Fresh and healthy ingredients, good variety of soups. There's a basket full of freshly baked bread and you can help yourself to a slice (or two, or three...). Always worth a visit, I highly recommend it. Lovely outside area, homely flair inside.

Great place to have some soup. It's not without reason recommended by a few travel guides as the soups really are quite exquisite. Be sure to come a tad earlier since the place runs out of some soups, if there are a lot of customers. With every serving of soup one is free to take a few pieces (up to one's liking) of wheat or full grain bread. The personnel is very friendly and forthcoming, and the place is clean. The prices aren't overly low or high, but rather perfectly justifiable for the amount and quality of soup one gets.

The perfect place for a small meal! I go to the soup cult for years, when I am in the Darmstadt city and hungry grab me. The soups and stews are always delicious and a changing selection ensures that you can always try something new. Those who prefer homemade salads will also get their money's worth.

I needed soup for some reason and my first place was closed. Remembered this place and got a great spinach and goat cheese soup. Tops.
